Hey Bloggers! I am eager to hear from you guys! I will be comparing the Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii, and last but not least the Play Station 3.
Each gaming system has its perks and cons. First off, the amazing Xbox 360 is a great multiplayer system and is good for racing, action and strategical games. Next, is the always great Nintendo Wii, it is a great family gaming system which the whole family will always have fun with. It is also great for arcade games. The Wii can also help injured people that need physical therapy or would just like to work out. It has a motion sensing controller that will precisely track your motions. The Play Station 3 is good for almost every kind of game genre. Each system is great for other reasons not just the reasons I previously stated.
The Xbox 360 has a CPU with a 3.6 GHz PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon, in simpler terms that is profoundly powerful. The graphics card is a 500 MHz ATI Xenos, that was probably also very baffling to you but that means that the graphics of a game can get almost implausibly clear.
The Nintendo Wii has a graphics card that is an ATI “Hollywood” chip which has been clocked up to 243 MHz, which is a normal graphic s card. It is definitely not as clear as the Xbox 360. The Wii’s CPU has an IBM PowerPC-based ”Broadway”, which is a good chip but it is still not as powerful as the Xbox 360.
The Play Station 3’s CPU is a 3.2 GHz Cell Broadband Engine with one PPE & seven SPEs, which is not as fast as the Xbox 360 but nevertheless is still very powerful. Also, the Play Station 3′s graphics card is a 550 MHz NVIDIA/SCEI RSX ‘Reality Synthesizer’, which is a little better than the Xbox 360 but not by much. But, never has a Play Station 3 game needed that much power. I believe the Play Station 3 will eventually have a game made that will be able to cinch all of that power.
The Xbox 360 is pretty much a match made in heaven for the Shooter genre fans and the good old Flight genre fans. The Xbox 360 button layout is perfect for Shooting, Racing, and Flight games. Also, the multiplayer part, Xbox Live, is the best multiplayer system out there, in my opinion. Dolefully, you have to pay for this captivating experience.
The Nintendo Wii is great for Sports games, Arcade games, and if you are an adept player it can be very nice for shooting games. The Wii does not necessarily have an online multiplayer capability. This is a big chagrin for lots of gamers all around the world.
The Play Station 3 is good for pretty much all game genres. But, the online multiplayer system is not as good as the Xbox 360’s, Xbox Live. On the other hand it is very good considering it is a completely free service. It is very difficult to connect to the wireless internet if, of course, that is what you are using for internet.
Thank you very much for your serenity. If you can, will you please comment and tell me which system you prefer.
Thank you,
Col Custurd
